SeaPort Manatee is a dependent special district created by the Florida Legislature in 1967, with 10 40-foot-draft berths serving container, bulk, breakbulk, heavy-lift, project and general cargo. It handled a record 11.86 million tons of cargo in fiscal 2025, and reports more than $7.3 billion in annual economic impact and more than 42,000 direct and indirect jobs. It hosts the International Trade Hub at SeaPort Manatee, a soft-landing program for companies entering the U.S. market.
