The Runway at Florida Atlantic (formerly FAU Tech Runway) is a South Florida public-private partnership that accelerates technology development and incubates startups. Its Venture Program is modeled on MIT's Venture Mentoring Service combined with Stanford's Lean Launchpad curriculum. The university reports its companies have created over 1,000 jobs and raised $162 million in capital over its first decade.
