A shared workspace in the St. Pete Innovation District for marine science, defense and technology organizations.
The Maritime and Defense Technology Hub is a shared workspace in the former SRI International building on the Port of St. Petersburg. It brings industry, government and academia together under one roof, and is managed by the St. Pete Innovation District, a nonprofit, under a license agreement with the City of St. Petersburg approved in October 2021. More than 20 organizations are sub-tenants, chosen for their fit with the city's and county's target industries, especially marine science, defense and technology.

Contact the Hub at 727-231-1162 or hub@stpeteinnovationdistrict.com. Under their lease terms, tenants take part in the Innovation District through local hiring, internships, peer mentoring of entrepreneurs and small businesses, and technical exchange events.
