Established in 2016, StartUP FIU is a university-wide initiative organized around three pillars: research commercialization, student entrepreneurship, and StartUP FIU Local for the surrounding community. It runs sector incubators (including StartUP FIU Food) and an accelerator, and works to translate FIU faculty research into the market.
