The University of North Florida Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI), launched in 2019, is described as Jacksonville's first equity-free comprehensive business incubator, located in the historic Barnett building at 112 W. Adams St. downtown. Selected early-stage startups receive space and support at no charge for one year, and the center runs Startup Cohorts, Growth Cohorts, Innovation Challenges, hackathons, and forums for students and the public.
